COMIC DRAWING WORKSHOP
TAUGHT BY CRISTIAN CASTELO
On June 19, Cristian Castelo led a workshop for workers to explore personal character and storytelling through comics drawing. They created self-portraits and put their character into a four panel comic strip that expressed a personal wish from inception to completion. Some wishes were about workplace justice, while others used the opportunity to tell silly or deeply personal stories. By sharing their stories in this way, workers bonded and learned more about one another on a personal level.
